Dr. Paul McDonald graduated with honors from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1981. He participated in a general practice residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado from 1981 to 1982. He started his first private practice in 1982 and was on faculty at Emory University School of Dentistry-part time as a clinical instructor in the Department of Prosthodontics.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society, and the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He places an emphasis on comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. McDonald has been married to Becky McDonald for 40 years. Becky helps out at the front desk on Friday mornings. They have two children, Porter and Neal, as well as three grandchildren, Whit, Pierce, Georgie. Dr. McDonald is an active member of Northside United Methodist Church. He is an alumnus of Westminster High School and the University of Georgia. In his free time, Dr. McDonald enjoys golf, woodworking, photography, and traveling.
